The football pitch area will be out of use from
 Monday 19th October
 until further notice.

who are carrying out the necessary levelling work for the parish.

~Holding a  Parish picnic/Comunity Day for 19th July, in conjunction with 'The Big Lunch'

~ Opening the new 'bike track at Camelsdale Rec - we are considering a 'baby track beside the playground - more news soon!
 Meeting with Couty Council Highways to discuss possible speed restrictions on Lynchmere Road & in  Lynchmere Hamlet.

~ Starting a website

Improvements to the Burial Ground
~Replacingthe fence around  Camelsdale playground
~Looking at new  recreational fequipment ideas for Camelsdale Recreation Ground
~Erecting a new footpall goal post at Copse Road Recreation Ground

~Appointing 3 new 'Litter-pickers'

Work will begin in June to 'revamp' the bicycle track at Camelsdale

Camelsdale SRTS
In November 2008  after a period of public consultation, An  an open  meeting was held at Camelsdale First School  to discuss the proposed SRTS scheme for Camelsdale.
The meeting was jointly chaired by Lynchmere Parish Council Chairman, Sylvia McCallum and County Councillor Tex Pemberton.
Several officers from WSCC gave presentations on various aspects of the scheme.
A proposal has been agreed and was  put before The CLC in January.
It is expected that  the works will be completed in 2009-2010.

Burial Ground
Topsoiling work to level some of the older part of the Burial Groundhas been completed.
Lynchmere Parish Council is looking into the possibility of   installing some new items of  equipment at Camelsdale Recreation Ground which will be aimed at the older children in the Parish.
Any suggestions for equipment can be sent to The Clerk.
